Net to Gross Salary Calculator

This reverse net salary calculator enables you to calculate the gross salary that you need to earn in order to get your desired take-home salary. The take-home salary is the net salary after deduction of pension, NHF and NHIS contributions as well as personal income tax.
The tool is very valuable for budgeting and for negotiating a salary with employer.

An HR manager or a payroll administrator will find this tool useful in determining the tax payable on a given net pay.
The tool also helps to determine pension deductable from a given net salary.

NOTE: The personal income tax computation is based on the Personal Income Tax Act 2011 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as amended by the Finance Acts of 2019 and 2020. Hence it is up-to-date as of November 2022.
This Act determines the income tax payable by employees, sole proprietors, and partners in partnership businesses.
